Individuals

DragonTHON is for everyone - no team required! As an Individual participant, you are able to personally fundraise for DragonTHON, join us for all events, and - of course - celebrate our efforts with the Main Event in May! Our Individual participants are assigned to a color team before the Main Event, meaning you get your own special color team T-shirt! Last year, Individual participants were part of the red team. Follow our social media accounts, linked below, to stay up to date on important information - such as team colors. We look forward to seeing all of our participants show out this year!
Teams

Are you part of a Drexel student club or organization? Sign up for DragonTHON as a team!

Partnering with DragonTHON as a team is an amazing opportunity for your club/organization. As a team in DragonTHON, you partner your organization with a nationally recognized, local philanthropy, support and work with CHOP to raise funds for their Child Life department, and create service and event opportunities for your club/organization! As a DragonTHON team, you also have the opportunity to be paired with a Miracle Family, representing one of our many Miracle Kids! Teams are invited and encouraged to attend the DragonTHON events that happen throughout the course of the year, as well as expected to host a minimum of 2 events throughout the year. The number of events a club/organization is expected to host is also dependent on if the team choose to be paired with a Miracle Family.

Every team will have a Team Captain. The Team Captain is responsible for facilitating communications between DDM and their team, encouraging team participation and fundraising, creating and executing team fundraisers and events, and partnering with a Dance Marathon Champion Family. Essentially, the Team Captain is the liaison between your team and DDM, fostering team engagement throughout the course of DDM. To become a Team Captain, fill out our Team Captain Interest Form.
Once your team has a Team Captain selected, the Team Captain should register/login to DonorDrive for the DragonTHON 2025 Event - instructions on how to do this are listed above in the DonorDrive section. The Team Captain should create the team through DonorDrive, allowing all following members of the team the option to join the team during registration. While team fundraising efforts are calculated, each member of your team has the ability to customize their page and personalize their fundraising campaign.
